About VetsJobs
Built for Those Who Served
VetsJobs exists to close the gap between military service and civilian career success. We cut through the noise and give veterans straight, practical career resources — free for veterans, always.
What We Stand For
Core Values
Service
We honor the commitment to serve by meeting veterans where they are — with resources that respect their experience and translate it into civilian success.
Community
No one transitions alone. We build bridges between veterans, employers, and advocates who understand the military journey.
Opportunity
Meaningful careers, not just jobs. We focus on pathways that leverage military skills, leadership, and discipline.
Integrity
Straight talk, no fluff. Every guide, tool, and recommendation is built on honesty and tested by people who have been there.
Our Story
Why VetsJobs Exists
VetsJobs was born out of frustration — and love. Our founder, Matt Fox, comes from a family full of veterans. He watched relatives with extraordinary leadership experience, technical skills, and discipline struggle to explain their value to civilian hiring managers who simply did not understand military resumes.
After years in recruiting and HR, Matt saw the same pattern repeat: talented veterans getting passed over for jobs they were more than qualified for. Not because they lacked ability, but because the transition language did not exist. Civilian recruiters could not read between the lines of an MOS code or decode military leadership into corporate terms.
So we built the translation layer. VetsJobs is a career bridge: MOS-to-civilian role matching, resume tools that speak recruiter, a directory of employers who genuinely want veteran talent, and guides written by people who have sat on both sides of the interview table.
Every resource is free to start because the people who served should never have to pay for a fair shot.
